I don't think that people want to let people get martyred and yes action must be taken. Americans helped in Europe during the Second World War but France helped the Americans when they wanted to be free from Great Britain in the time of the Revolution. Remember La Fayette... It is a never ending discussion, and you have to understand that the people in different countries see things differently because it is brought to them differently by the medias. I believe that they are well meant people in every country and the anti-war and pro-war groups are very often both working for the same peaceful planet but they don't understand each other's ways of arriving to it.
