I think you misunderstood me, which is another reason these discussions should maybe not take place. I am not taking the side of the above poster, merely presenting reality -- the war is going to happen & if someone strongly disagrees with it then the option is to follow their conscience & refuse to serve in the military. If your sons wish to fight this particular war that is their choice.
I personally do not strongly support either the pro or the anti side. It's not that I'm undecided for lack of information. If anything my lack of taking sides comes from having a great deal of information. I could strongly argue the pro side & just as strongly argue the anti side. I understand your position & your reasons for it, & I understand the other positions. I think we should respect each other's choices & sides. And that may mean being very sparing with our comments.
