Agreed. But no matter what anyone says right now Bush is determined to have this war & it looks like he will definitely wage it. No amount of demonstrations have been able to change his mind, neither will any posts on this board influence his foreign policy. The only thing that personal opposition to the war can gain is the personal knowledge of having taken a moral stand, which may be worth treasuring as a memory during the coming years.
What action can a person take that really counts? If you have two sons who may be drafted the only choice may be to simply head as draft dodgers to Canada again, like people did during the Viet Nam war.
