That with every threat of war or “rumor of war” there is a resurgence of dooms day prophets and endtime conjecturists. Quite frankly, I’m sick of it. People should just read their history books and see that the world has been plagued with wars and the like since man’s recorded history. Unfortunately, it is the nature of man, that I don’t know why, but it’s nothing new. Heck, civilized man wiped out whole tribes of South American Indians by simply infecting them with the common cold. The viruses we worry about pale in comparison. I bet they thought they were in the middle of Armageddon. Everyone acts like, “this is ‘it’, we’re finally going to see ‘it’.” Whatever “it” is. And besides, if a nuclear war hits, or it’s the end of the world (which I don’t personally believe either are going to happen), or whatever, there is not much you can do about it if you are at ground zero. Like Jo says, just love your family more and realize how precious life is.
