I have been thinking about this term and, well, after leaving the fam, there is so much stunted growth to make up for. Sometimes waffling might just be discovering my own opinions, political views, preferences, etc. In the fam, all that was controlled from outside. Now I can control from the inside and make my own decisions. Part of that process is changing views, frames of reference, etc. for me. Even in society here in America, since 911, there is a great deal of confusion for many citizens regarding the impending war. There were so many for war or retaliation immediately after 911. That has changed and opposition to war is growing. Maybe that influences Bush to act fast.
I have "waffled" on my opinion regarding the war because I still have great problems with trust based on life experiences. All I can do is say what I have said which is that I would wish for more world backing, especially from our traditional allies. When so much is NOT there, then it is shaky ground imo.
Hope we are still on line thru the week...
