I totally agree. A little fling is never worth the destruction it creates in its path. I have never seen participating in other relationships do anything different. I don't see how it can bring two people closer together but would only draw you from each other, no matter how "open minded" one thinks they are. It only works in situations like Mormons or fanatical religious sects (ahem) where they, of course, take young girls in their teens (haven't we just seen an example of this) and indoctrinate them at that young tender age and make them part of their harem. They grow up thinking that's nomral and being complacent is their role.
