I can really relate to this. When I first left the F. I also felt totally disoriented. I had no idea how to make a decision if I didn't pray over every little minute detail or use the 7 ways to know God's will. Nothing works, of course, because it's totally irrational. God is supposed to be so divine that we don't need to be rational. You are correct then that we ended up living in a fairy tale world, old and young alike. After I left, I had the hardest time making any decisions. I felt like I was drowning with no life preserver and it was scary.
