What excellent posts. I empathize with both sides of the equation.
I observed much more sharing and FFing than I was actually involved in. I had a son through sharing whom I never see and don't even know if he knows that I'm his biological parent. He'll be 18 this year. Ironically, when he was younger he was the only one of my children to look quite like me!! All I feel is shame when I think about him.
I saw plenty of women suffer terribly as you suggest, Acheick. And they are still suffering 20 years on.
And I also saw a lot of husbands go through it every day. Most Latin women are pretty hot stuff and many have no qualms about fucking lots of guys and bearing lots of children - and then leaving them for relatives to rear. My street has a number of women like that living in it. I feel for their kids.
In the F., I knew quite a few women of this kind who were happy to dump their kids with the husband at the home and take off to FF or witness. The husbands really went thru hell.
It's one hell of a topic and one of the most damning indictments of the F's wickedness. To me, damaging so many children in that way was truly wicked. As adults, we just have to try to accept what happened in our lives and move on. All those kids never asked to be born in those circumstances.
