heed the call to yet again forsake all

I like that but I wonder if some people in The Family know what forsaking all really is and if they would recognize it if they saw it.

When we left The Family we had to forsake all again. We had to forsake family, loved ones, things, our past. In fact, it was a much harder decision the second time than the first time because we didn't go into open arms of warm bodies but into a cold desolation of unknowns. Some may think that they know about forsaking all when they only have a faint clue of what it really is.
