I really appreciate reading what you say about using that part of our Family experience for our own present benefit. I have a hard time doing that, because I'd like to be able to completely delete it, format it, and re-install my life with out any of TF past. Which isn't the way things are. The past is part of us, and I accept that.
In the work I do now as a language teacher to teenagers and adults, the communication skills I was good at in TF are very very helpful to me now. The fact that TF experience helped me to be able to be a natural communicator should not bother me. But sometimes anything that has anything at all to do with TF just makes me want to scream, so I'm still resolving certain conflicts.
