Childhood Sexual Abuse Statute of Limitations

I was amazed to find out how short the statute of limitations on childhood sexual abuse is in some states. In New Jersey it is currently 2 years. In Massachusetts it is 3 years. But in Connecticut it’s 40 years.
New Jersey is considering replealing the Statute of Limitations on childhood sexual abuse. Anyone who has the time should write or email legislatures in New Jersey to encourage them to do so.

Also if anyone knows anything about how the people who are suing the Catholic Church in Massachusetts are able to overcome the statute of limitations in that state please let me know
