You know, your support really means a lot. Some of these kids I raised when they were little babies, they are not mine, they are my ex and his wife, but I feel a bond anyway. I haven't spoken to them in years, but my children have visited them and they pass along messages. They told my oldest how when I was teaching school to them, when I turned my back, they swiped the cough drops I kept on my desk. Then I'd return and start looking around for them thinking I had dropped them somewhere. Meanwhile, they were snickering and having a good laugh over it. I never knew that till now and it reminded me how much they are just kids that want to be loved and are normal, healthy, energetic human beings like anyone else, except they are trapped in an organization fiercely protected by their parents. That part annoys me to no end.
