That is so heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for your loss. I wonder if that is my son's feelings towards his biological father? He never met him. He was just another statistic in the knew disciple program. I guess I feel all the anger for him at this stage. Someday he'll probably get to the point of feeling some strong emotion for the abandonment. I just hope I can be the understanding support that he'll need when that time comes.
Ironic isn't it? For a religious group that claims to be Christian to treat its own without the much-touted "love" that they so freely dispense to the rest of the world? Despicable double standard. So much bullshit this love fantasy they propagate to the ends of the earth. Makes you wonder if they'll ever wake up. I know for sure my son's flesh father won't. He's one of those damned lifers.
