I was trying to address the large amount of contradictions. They are at the core of their substance (The Family). All those contradictions point to their known desire of control having us as the subjects of social engineering.
The goal was not to love others but to create in us an attitude of mental detachment from ourselves and those with whom we were emotionally attached (our loved ones). How can then we be asked to love others but hate our father, mother, children, brother, sister, wife...
To make sense of all of we must become beings without emotional attachments where friendships exist only as part of the greater job and goals we are being driven into. But we wanted to love and that is when the cycle completed. Our idealism was used to give us a new definition of love that would satisfy these parameters and allow us to hate our loved ones and ourselves and love those we were told to and love in the way we were told to.
