Now you narrowed it back down to the western sin concept which is why rocky had a problem with it in the first place. Karma means you not only reap what you sow, so do your children, and you reap what your parents sow.and what you reap does not mean punishment or the same bad things happening. Its not about paying back. It can mean a new reaction that is entirely different from the first action, but it will be related.We don't always degenerate in bad deed after bad deed.If you look at the life stories of families, you will see a pendulum like reactions, as people try to find balance reacting to the ripples caused by some ancestor's actions.
