I thought that things were so much *better* under the Charter now with everyone enjoying lots of freedom & sort of their own boss? it looks like this horrible freezing tent episode was just the fault of thesicko step-father, not anything he learned in the group. i tend to agree with Jules that the group isn't so bad as it used to be so just leave it alone to it's own crazy religious beliefs.
about masturbating to Jesus well, see he even said here that rank-&-file don't beleive it & don't do it. It's not like the old days when people were having sex with children. yes the family is in volved in coverups about the past but the question is what are they actualy *doing* that's so horribly bad now?
the sga who wrote the letter to Maria even said that she was staying in the famly because she felt it was a good place to raise her kids.remember?
Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying I'd want to rejoin the Family or want my kids in it but it's just not as bad as it used to be. There's more freedom now, at least at this stage till they tighten up.
