I think the poster simply was trying to show that it's not connected to the COG, just for clarity, not that you can't bring it up here or ask for help. Cults have so many similarities and the traps are the same, it's helpful to discuss them all if one choses. That was something that really woke me up when I went to college and studied some of these cults and my eyes were opened as to how they all operate the same and use the same tactics. It helped me lose that mind-control that the COG had used to get me and everyone else to think they are the best group on the face of the planet. Such a big fat lie. Good luck with your friend, all of these groups are dangerous in some form or another and we are all vulnerable.
