Merry Christmas, everyone!

I suppose I've broken a thousand Family rules by putting up a Christmas tree, eating ham, drinking egg-nog, crossing the red line in the kitchen to get those things and putting up baubles on my merry Christmas tree, but the older I get the less I care for legalistic rules. I think this will be a merry Christmas. Now if only I can get the fireplace working.

We don't have a lot of money, but at least the bills got paid and there are presents under the tree for the kids. I think my wife and I will go out to a movie -- I want to see "Lord of the Rings" pt. 2 and she wants to see "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" so in the true spirit of Christmas we'll probably see the greek wedding and rolling orc heads will have to wait till the new year.
