That is one thing that amazes me - even though I know it did happen and probably still happens. How can they DARE, how can they have the nerve to try to keep children from their parents? When my girls went to the London Teen Home, I wrote them almost every day and sent them things. I always felt bad that they never wrote back. Then when they got sent home again, they gave them all the letters the day they sent them back. All at once. I was really ticked about that, furious. That was the beginning of the end - I really started to become disgruntled and more vocal about things I didn't like then. You know, we probably did a POA, too, although I don't remember it, but now I am looking back on it thinking, what the heck we were thinking anyhow? Where were our minds - did we even have any mind left? I am speechless.
