I think we have a conflict of definitions

I know quite a few kids who were separated from their parents at one time or another to go to the teen camps or teen homes (including my own kids), or parents went on road trips and left the kids behind at the school for a few days or a week at a time. Some longer. However, outside of the Family, there are also kids who go away to boarding schools, too - do you consider that to be child trafficking?

According to the UNICEF definition of child trafficking, it is "..the illegal transport of children in order to sell them for exploitive purposes...Children are sold and bought for such things as labour, sex, organs, and marriage."

Are you saying that the people in Chile actually sold and bought the children for these purposes?
