For at least 10 years my son kept telling me to go to the dentist for at least a cleaning and a checkup. I kept putting it off. In my mind I kept thinking about Mo’s dental advice. Floss your teeth and rinse your mouth with water. It was good enough for him. No one in the Family ever went to the dentist for a routine checkup as far as I knew. I’d been out of the COG for many many years and yet I trusted Mo’s advice on that. I brushed my teeth and flossed and rinsed my mouth with water. Good enough I thought. I finally did go to the dentist and ended up getting 5 root canals costing me 7,000 dollars. Had I gone to the dentist earlier it would have only been a matter of filling cavities and cleaning. Much much cheaper and would’ve saved my teeth. Be careful trusting MO’s health advice. Some of it is good but it’s certainly not complete. Go to the dentist, get you teeth cleaned and checked by the dentist. Use a Sonicare toothbrush if you can and use it for the full two minutes and follow the directions. If you can’t afford a regular dentist find a dental school or free health clinic.
Have a very nice Christmas.
