Having experienced life in that group, whether years ago, and whether or not a person has contact personally with others still in is not necessary, imo. Having the cult experience is the commonality. And offering resources and support to those still in regardless of age, with exception of the top (PandM and molesters by nature, because they can rot in jail for all I care, and I hope they DO,) could be useful.
When the Feds and other law surrounded the Koresh place in a hostile siege, adults and children died. Personally, I think it is wise to get the HEAD, and then offer resources to the body, and pursue legally the pedophiles as victims see fit. Now, a suit against the f. as a whole is a good idea if it actually stops them. I think it would be good to imagine scenarios of what will go down and who all will be affected and what rippling effect it will have. The "it" is anything a person does with regard to attack.
For example, when a person who has been molested confronts a perpetrator, it is important to work with someone and have support regarding the different possible results of doing so. Reason being, most perpetrators not only lie, but turn around and accuse their victims. That can be extremely devastating to the victim. Therefore, people need to be prepared for answers, responses and results that they may hear or have happen that go against their hopes. This way, they will not be so emotionally effected.
