Yeah, Berg used to constantly say how THANKFUL he was that the Family's extreme sex doctrines made them anathema to the churches. He would say how God in his wisdom had made them so radical, made them break so completely with accepted mores that they COULDN'T go back to the system, the system would never accept them. Shortly before he died he even published a letter urging the Family to boldly declare, "YES we're a Sex Cult!"
So all this "church invasion" and pretending to be squeaky-clean orthodox Christians producing harmless, innocent stuff for consumption by small children is totally against the grain of "Please reject us!" that he was trying to achieve by his unbelievable sexual doctrines.
You can't just say that Zerby changed direction when Berg died and she took over, and she's trying to go more mainstream and blah blah blah. After Jonestown, 23 years ago, Berg came out with letters telling the Family to "duck" and pretend to be normal systemites and go DTD like the JWs and Mormons.
Then he came out with the whole Church Invasion thing and made it vewy vewwwwwy clear that they were ONLY going in to pull the wool over systemites' eyes, bilk them of their money, get "missionary" support and then be off.
And a few years ago Berg AGAIN repeated his "invade the churches" vision, telling the Family to go to liberal churches to gain respectability and acceptance as "good Christians." The whole game from beginning to end is and always was deception. Pretended compromise for monetary gain.
So none of this recent incentive shows any change of heart. None of it shows Family members struggling to make a new life from themselves on the fringes of the Family as they seek to distance themselves and blah blah. It's the same dirty old wolf in sheep's clothing trying to come in amongst the flock and fleece it.
And if Solomon CR is sincere in his desire to produce genuine Christian videos he needs to get out of Grandma Maria's whorehouse and truly strike out on his own.
No one who knows the Family's long, tedious history of "infiltrating churches" and "bilking the system" should believe that any new incentive funded by Family dollars, manned by Family members and bearing the Family seal of approval in their right hand or in their forehead, is anything but a repeat of the same old thing.
