Marina, those poor children are now doing well (considering what they've been through). They are my step brothers. The little girl was adopted by her maternal grandparents, as her father couldn't handle all of the children. The oldest boy is now 25 yrs old. In the past few years he has had memories of his mothers murder. Of course he has issues with the Family and with Berg, as he read the letter when his father met my mom. The second son is now 24 and doing very well for himself! He has found his place in the world and is a happy well rounded person.
My step father on the other hand still has guilt issues over the whole situation. He's just coming to realise just how full of s**t Berg really was. He suffers from depression, feelings of alientation and guilt.
I personally blame all of this on Berg. Donna (her name) was not raped, the murderer just wanted to "know what it felt like to kill someone".
She did have siblings that were in the group...they are no longer in.
