Hi Sam! I think the following:
1. Lying by avoiding the heart of the issue, that being that he is a member of the family.
2. Avoiding any issue by implying that association with the family in this case could a "personal" issue.
3. Interesting to see how he will respond to the trail of association that exists in so many parts of the family history. On the other hand why would we expect any of them not to lie, it is an entrenched value in the family.
Thanks Sam for the info. I sure hope it catches up with them some day. Ten minutes on Moving On would do all the family some good to see what the legacy of berg's folly really is.
