Michael Fogarty (Ahimelech) and his wife Patience (Lily) did not kidnap Alan (Patrick). I talked with Patrick's dad Daniele back in Rome, Italy & he was a single father. Daniele told me he was giving Patrick to Ahimelech and Patience because he wanted his son to have a family & be raised in the Family. So they didn't exactly kidnap Patrick. Of course Daniele could have changed his mind later but by then it was too late. Even tho Daniele made a mistake in giving his son away to the Family it's pretty sad he never got to see him again.
But the Family did kidnap kids. There was a German guy Didymus who came down from Germany to marry Rebekah who was head of childcare in Bassetto, & so Didymus learned a lot about how the Family did things with kids. He came up to me one day laughing & said, 'It's unbelievable what we do with kids. We're like gypsies! We practically kidnap them & move them from country to country!"
