Interesting. Actually, when you think about it, it's a very good idea. What else do they use when they have to identify a body? Dental records (maybe that's why they are so tuned into this) - and what if there is an emergency and you need immediate medical attention and no one knows you are a diabetic or you have this or that condition and you are not conscious to tell people. And what about children that go missing all the time. When my children were little if someone offered to implant a tracking device, I would have done it. There were too many close calls too close to home to be able to live without worrying my every waking minute that my children were safe from predators lurking around. People freak out when they hear of any kind of identity device because we have been so spooked by the Hal Lindsey syndrome. They just arrested some guys that had an identity theft ring and they had bilked like 30,000 people for about 2 1/2 million dollars by stealing their identity. I think that's more scary than having a safeguard in place so people can't do that.
