I am interedted. We left the COG in the borderline years, Thank God! But the experiences we had have really helped us to somewhat understand some of the more extensive sexual abuse that followed. The pattern was already established and even after severing all physical ties, the emothional and spiritual ones took years. The residuals are seemingly endless. I have several friends that were sexually abused as children. I'm not sure there were not instances in my own childrens lives in the schools they attended. They have some strange memories as well. Not clear enough to make a call though. I would like to read the book.
