I've read through the brochure several times and what has impressed me about it is how factual it is. Whoever wrote it went to great pains to not only make it accurate, but fair. All they are saying is that there is "more than meets the eye" so the public should know about it. For example, instead of simply stating that the Family was involved in incest and child abuse (and leaving the impression that they still are), they wrote:
While The Family has stopped the abuse, no effort has been made to compensate the victims, nor prosecute the abusers.
So they clearly say it stopped, but explain what the problem still is. I don't think there's anything in the brochure that is exaggerated or hype or even a bit inaccurate. It was very professionally done by someone who apparently wanted a fair, truthful representation out there.
About ten years ago the Hieberts of "No Longer Children" put out a brochure too, though it was not of this same quality, but it was a good effort. As my memory serves me, at the beginning of their brochure they wrote that they were merely "filling in the gaps of the Family's history that the Family was refusing to tell." I think that this new brochure is doing the same thing.
It's not helpful to simply seek revenge against the Family, but to tell the truth and give this brochure to mall managers, why not? If you knew there was a charity fraud in your city that was targeting and scamming old ladies, wouldn't you report it? Of course. Well, what the Family is doing is just the same. They are a fraud and operating with the intent to decieve and bilk people, not to rip old ladies off for $500 dollars, but to rip off idealistic young people of their entire lives.
There is nothing wrong with telling the truth and exposing frauds especially if it saves innocent people from being robbed of years of their lives.
