Response to Texas Ray

I was trying to respond below, but there is some glitch going on with the board right now. At least I can post at the top, it seems. Anyway, you were asking what about returning to the states and filing taxes after having been gone for a long time, if anybody had any problems. I know you asked SSam, but I will answer too.

As for me and my hubby, neither of us had a problem. We wen't back to school and entered the work force, no one said a word. The main problem was big gaps in our resumes. For me it wasn't so big because I of course was a housewife for many years. My husband would put that he taught school for missionary children - well, it's true. But it worked out with no problems.
