How well I remember those vigils! Fortunately, I was very pregnant for the big one they went to from Staten Island, so they let me stay home and sleep. But I remember doing little vigils around the New Jersey lit base and being so solemn and not talking to anyone or answering their questions. What idiots we were, hahaha! I'm glad my kids weren't born yet or they would really have something to be embarrassed about! :-)
