Making real friends. Can it be done?

Sure I had friends in the Family but a lot of that comradery was only because we all thot we were so special & were united against the whole world that was out to getus. But since leaving Ive found that I have almost no real friends. I do have aquaintences that I have fun with but I find I have to be real choosey who I tell about my past in the cult. I've told a few people & once they understand it thtey don't look at me like I was wierd or a loser for joining, and that's maybe cause lots of them have thier own sad stories & bad experiences. Still I feel like the odd man out sometimes. Anyone else identify with that? Have you settled in pretty much & are able to find genuine friends who accept you cult past & all?
