I reckon we can go to work on this stuff, and start building these resources and answering these questions.
Would it look something like this?
TIPS FOR DEPARTEES:
- Do pay taxes
- you can do them by mail, or e-mail
- most of the time you will use the w1040 form
- Driving skills
- How to get a license
- learning to drive

When going for job interviews
- ask about health benifits and 401K
- explanation needed for the benifits of having benifits
- what you can use from being in the family to put on a resume
- PR work
- Teaching
- Volunteer work
- Girls should get a pap smear
- explanation needed for why it is so important for all women especially those who have never had one
- list of free clinics
- Planned Paraenthood
- other state run clinics for women and children
- Parenting Classes
- amazingly insightful
for parents who are leaving the COG and feel incapable as paraents
- List/examples of state funded college programs for single parents
- Reading list
- a little more insight about other cults
- demonstrate that the COG hasn't cornered the market on outlandish behavior and far out religion
- Common concerns when leaving the family
- I will never fit in to society
- I am too special
- going to school and finding out that you are not so
different at all
- I am raised too differently from any one else in the "system"
- Will I become a slave to the system?
- Will my motivation and my spirit shrivel up and die?
