When I say "before most of the abuse occurred." I'm talking about the abuse that many of the SG's sufferred and refer to in their accounts of it. Plenty of abuse happened before that too, and you've made it very clear what you suffered from the time you joined at 17, until you left later, on your own, a mom with 3 young children. (or was it four?)
Also the wording "you have an advantage over people like me" that's not really what I mean; but sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I would have left in the early '80s.
