1. He's doing good charitable work helping people. True, Family members around the World are partial beneficiaries of the money raised, but also poor people are helped, lots of them. Can you prove that FCF is merely a Family front and that all the money it raises goes to Family Homes? You can't.
2. Grant claims to not be part of the Family any more. Why would you doubt that? He's smart enough to figure out where Peter and Maria are at. That makes him just a regular ex-member like the rest of us. If he's out and the Family now considers him a backslider, he's in the same boat as the rest of us.
3. Even if Grant was still technically a part of the Family it is probably in name only to not appear to be a backslider. If any link (if it even existed) was proved between the Family and FCF, it would only hurt the poor and the disadvantaged in other nations.
4. The fact that he is involved in good, charitable works now is an indication that he has repented from the excesses he was involved in when he was a leader and Prime Minister. The harm he may have caused in the past by implementing harsh policies is negated by his present acts. Jethro caused as much damage or more than Grant, yet I don't see the ex-member community going after him.
5. No one has ever brought any specific charge or crime against Grant. This could hardly be said for many other Family members now, could it?
6. Grant is hardworking, honest and trying to make a new life for himself and his family. He does not live exhorbitantly. It appears he is trying to shed his past and come clean. Why can't you just leave him alone?
7. Grant seems quite willing to use lawyers to bring lawsuits against anyone who says that he and FCF are part of the Family. Not only would this seem to be proof that he is in fact no longer a member of the Family, but should serve as a warning to those prone to wild speculation and witch hunts.
Think about it.
