Hi Kristi,
There are a number of ways to do this, but this is probably one the simplest ways:
1) double click on the first word of a section you wish to copy - it should be highlighted.
2) hold the shift key down, and move the mouse cursor to the end of the section you want to copy, and click on it - you should have an entire section marked (highlighted)
3) type Ctrl-C to copy the marked text
4) close that post
5) Either make a new post (see "Write a New Post" on left) or reply to an existing one.
6) When you are in the "Message" box, type Ctrl-V to paste the section into the box
Voila!
