I accept what you say. It's on MovingOn too, all over the place. And, my daughter tells me the same thing. It makes a difference to her that I say nothing more than, "I'm guilty as charged." It makes a difference for me too, it's therapy.
I spend hours talking to her on the phone sometimes, she'd been doing good but it hasn't been easy for her. This year she'll finish 4 yrs worth of university studies in the space of only 3 yrs. Sometimes she's gotten really upset when we've talked, I accept it, I realize she needs to do it. I'm not on a guilt trip or anything to say I deserve it: What a f...ing f...ed-up FGA idiot I was for letting Berg control my mind and life for such a long time and for trying to pass that shit crap madness on to my kids who had no choice.
So I take it when the youth dish it out. I'm friends with my daughter, and some other ex sga.
