You are advocating for help for all ages. I was under the impression you didn't give a damn about SGAs because FGAs are equally hurt by the cult.
I'm sorry but I disagree with that and your posts will not change my mind. The agressive tone doesn't help your cause either.
It is interesting that you read in between the lines to guess what other people think but you don't let others tell you how your words can also be interpreted. Asking where you said that you are "special" is the logical conclusion to your arguments trying to minimize the SGAs experience. You are equating your experience in the Family with that of the SGAs as a whole. That is how you want to make yourself special and it is clear to anybody who has read your writings.
That is fine as far is concerned but I still don't agree with it. SGAs did not, like you, joined voluntarily and were subject to things you can't only imagine. All that while at an age they could not leave the Family. Even if they are older adults now, you cannot dillute their experience.
I don't wish to add more discomfort to your already difficult life - in fact, I would rather see us grow up and move on over this hump but it is up to you. Maybe you don't realize the tone you use, or perhaps you do and bitch purposely to intimidate.
If you keep lumping averybody as having received the same type of damage in the Family regardless of the time they spent in it, the period of time they had their COG experience, whether they joined voluntarily or were born into it, if they were part or not of the priviledge class, then you will have at least one voice reminding you that there are differences. you may not care about bitching but I can do my own bitching as well. What purpose is that going to serve? What will you accomplish? Let it go and move onto new things.
