what did our scholarship conversation accomplish?

Well, we got some great tips from Goth - I like this reference to Covenant house and other places that some young people and others can find immediate assistance when necessary. Then there was the idea from Micron and a few others about getting set up some sort of data base and/or list of people who voluntarily will log on as to how much they can help, where they are, etc., etc. I'd still like to see some $$$$ flowing from the government and other sources. Maybe the first thing to do is get started with some data bases. I think some ideas might be brewing. I've already asked my daughter to write up a little paper on how to apply for financial aid here in Calif. I'm thinking of getting together some pointers on job interviews and applying for jobs. I have a lot of info on that.
