Since he is 15, would he be willing to go to Covenant House? It is an excellent organization and would benefit him for a long time if he wanted that. The one in Houston helps people up to age 21. Their help includes school and/or GED, counseling, access to physical care and therapy. They provide housing at no cost to the client. In fact, youth can obtain jobs when it is appropriate and they put it into an account (it is not at their disposal to misuse)towards their future. The kids get the full amount, whether they stay or not. It is a very good chance. For anyone that is serious about getting help and is younger than 21. At the same time whoever is in the area where he went could visit him.
