what started me on this conversation

Yeah, it's easy to misunderstand what a person is thinking and then you write it on paper and it comes out very different.

There are always those variables in the F. - like the people who love it and have propogated a lot of the abuses that goes on, it's hard to feel much sympathy for them. Of course, if any a one of them were to come clean one day and realize they had been foolish to follow a perverted alcoholic, I will be the first to welcome them and forgive them and help them as much as I can. We've all been there, we've all done that. Yet, there are some people that I doubt will get to that point and will die in their delusions much like Berg did. It remains to be seen.

What really started me on this conversation, if I can be more specific, was how you, Micron, were helping a F. SGA who has been kind of lost and wondering around the country for the last 2 years that I know of and he's only 20. And I know that he's only one of many. His parents are half in and half out and really can't help him, I've heard other exmembers call him crazy and all sorts of demeaning names. Yet, you have taken him in and offered him help. So, it made me think about that and about how it would be so cool to get someone like that into a college and get him started and we could have a fund going to give them a little extra boost. That's all I was trying to say. MV's ideas got me going on it too and I think there is a place for all these ideas. We just need to thrash them out and find out what is the most workable. I'm glad to see that it's being talked about and some viable solutions are coming together.
