Are you sure you are a "Christian"? I know I am not, but I sure don't get people in their 40s and upwards condemning anybody as far as their deserving or not deserving help after getting out of the family. I don't get it. I might still have been in had things not come together as they did enabling me to leave with all my kids. I can't categorically even imagine excluding help for anyone who wants to leave, regardless of age. There are already orgs. that help people of all ages recovering from drug abuse, incl. job training, transitional housing, therapy, etc. Why is it that some first generation members are so harsh towards others in their same age? I think it is sad for any ex member who reads this crap and thinks this is how the exer community as a whole feels that they are not worth shit (what they have always believed about themselves) and that only the youth are redeemable. How sad.
