Seriously - access to the internet means education and knowledge. Knowledge is the key to power - the power to start to see the real world and the power to ultimately leave the Family. Obviously Maria and Peter are quite aware of this little factoid. God help all those true freedom-seekers currently trapped in the COG fantasy world to get online and tale a good long look at what is really happening.
