More food for thought

What do you think?

Could some people actually decide to return to the Family's life style with others who are more or less aligned with David Berg's doctrines of sexuality, pedophilia, spiritualism, demons? Could some people do this separating themselves from doctrinal discussions? In other words, they would have to have the ecumenic view of "let's stress our common foundation and avoid the differenes". Except that the differences among Christianity and what the F believes nullify the foundations they claim to have. The Family may have Bible-based beliefs, or even their teachings may use the Bible and the teachings of Jesus, but Christians they are not, are they?

Now, imagine a group of exmembers who engage in living that lifestyle, or at least have similar levels of common interaction where some people still believe in Berg, others believe in accepting Faithy as a personality, others only want to enjoy the benefits of communal life, etc. Would this be possible?

I have to confess that if I didn't have a life of my own, I might consider a change - after all I am fairly liberal but my conservative part will always be in turmoil. Then my conscience! For God's sake, how could some one partake bred with people whose idea of Christianity goes into pedophilia, spiritualism and control?

Can people who claim to be Christians (I assume non-Christians would not want to live that way anymore) live that way? They will have to put blinders on and accept to live without condemning the works of evil. Can a true Christian live under those conditions of quenching their own spirit, and the Spirit of God in them?

Can ex-members who are aware of the evil in the teachings of David Berg live in Family-like conditions or have communion with F members again?
