As someone once said, they who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. How do we learn from history ? First of all we have to write it down. That is an ongoing process. If the COG were obliterated as it now exists and if justice prevailed against most of the child molesters and abusers then I would say that I for one would feel a sense of peace about the injustice and abuse. As long as the abusers are free and in the case of the COG continue their abuse (in the sense of teaching false Christian doctrine) then that sense of peace will never really exist and it probably shouldn't. I was one of the early COG members and I feel betrayed by the false doctrine that was taught and the child abuse that resulted from some of that doctrine. It should never be fogotten. We'll keep talking about it till the cows come home.(Jesus comes back).
