I have children who are suffering directly as a result of the overkill discipline the F. unleashed on them, sometimes through me. God I hate myself for being stupid enough to not allow my kids to be kids. I never got to enjoy them as a parent during some of their most tender years. Not even a super busy "system" parent with a career would neglect some of the deepest needs in a child, the way F. parents are taught to do. I came to the conclusion that just about everything the F. taught me about kids was wrong, or had some aspect of it that was wrong. Just so wrong!
