Exactly my point! We find it difficult to even strive for that happy medium. We know too much about human nature, in others and in us, because once we were they and know that humans can potentially be evil though we chose not to be and think we are better. We prefer our own mistakes than those of others, even if we do exactly the same thing thus happily, or reluctantly, avoid that happy medium.
Sometimes we forget that we can be and do the very same things we see in those we dislike.
