David Hoyt was of the House of Judah somewhere in Georgia. He was no saint either, apparently. The COG accused him of beating his wife. He left, but not before he helped convince Linda Meissner and only 5-10 of the Seattle Jesus People join. The rest of them chose not to follow her into the COG. But almost all of about 100 Jesus People in Vancouver did follow Russel Griggs in. He left after two weeks but they all ended up in a lifetime.
