There was one in Oregon two summers ago. Not really an exfamily get together, just some folks who got in touch on line and had a camp out. Because of the last infussion of F. members at these get togethers, people lost interest and it became a dangerous thing to do. We all know that most F. members would not go to an exmember meeting except for two reasons, either they have one foot out the door and they want to leave OR they have been instructed to go there to try to appease exmembers, make the bitter ones subdued or even better, get them to feel guilty again and/or love-bomb them to want to rejoin or join the Activated ministry. In other words, get them back on the hook and get their money and/or their favor. Remember Berg's letter after he sent families to their home countries in 88? He said that those who didn't join a home upon their return could not be trusted, but you could still collect their tithe from them. That's what it's all about. Read the letters, it's clear there.
