I find it very naive of anybody not to believe that Faithy, Eve (Aunt Jane) and others have not received and benefited from the sweat of the hard labourers both past and present. This is probably the desire of DB.
Sam, usually, doesn't say things without evidence.
Although, my stance is different. Personally, I don't give a damn anymore. It was just piece of past like scars of my body, that prove that I wasn't imagining anything but that it was history.
So, it is the scars of my soul.
